Glenlee Writing Project Jan-Feb 2008 |
Creative writing project in Hamilton.
In January and February 2008 TAG is working with Glenlee Primary School in Hamilton on a creative writing project.
Primary 5 were chosen by South Lanarkshire Council to work with TAG exploring writing, focussing on exploring imaginative textual creativity and word-play.
Alongside work with children, the School staff will receive a CPD session that outlines the project and gives the teaching staff some new writing techniques to explore with their classes.
The School, who are also linked to Hamilton School for the deaf, have recently moved to a new premises in an all purpose new building next door to their old school site. TAG will explore some of the class's experiences and feelings when making this move to the new school site and the changes that have occurred.
We hope to create a book which will reflect the Schools written work and the projects journey.
