Annual drama competition
The Citizens' Theatre Society - Secondary Schools' Drama Competition.
CITIZENS THEATRE, CIRCLE STUDIO
Wed 18 June 2008, 2-4pm
Thu 19 June 2008, 2-4pm
This annual event sees students from eight schools perform no more than 15 minutes of a Shakespearean play, in front of an audience of the Citizens' Theatre Society, students, teachers and members of the public.
Lower secondary classes (1st-3rd year) will compete on Wednesday and upper secondary classes (4th-6th year) on Thursday. A judging panel of three professional directors, will award a Quaich of Words - our specially designed trophy - to winning schools.
Prize-giving occurs at the end of each day, concluding around 4.30pm.
