How can I join TAG?

TAG is a professional theatre company and as such does not have a public membership.

There are occasionally projects for which we would be seeking members of the public (other than our public theatre tours). If a project is open to the public, details will be provided on this website. Weekly drama classes are available for 4-15 years, The Citizens' YOUNG Co. caters for 16-21 years and Citizens' NIGHTSCHOOL for 22+.

I have written a play and would like TAG to produce it, to whom should I send this?

TAG Theatre Company produces high quality work aimed at an audience of children and young people. We are not looking for "issue-based" plays. Unfortunately TAG's Artistic Director does not have time to read unsolicited scripts. Hence any scripts sent to the company cannot be guaranteed a response.
Below are some useful addresses:

If you are Scottish or Scottish based, your play can be sent to Fuse (who read on behalf of most Scottish Theatre Companies). NB. The Traverse Theatre read their own scripts.

I am having trouble downloading pdfs from this website, can you help?

If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 and get the message "object label badly formatted" when viewing DGS online publications, then change the following setting and try again. Open Reader and go to Edit> Preferences> Options and uncheck the box next to Allow Fast Web View.

This appears to be an intermittent problem. If you are trying to open directly from the web and are experiencing problems, why not try saving the file to disk and opening the download from there. Sometimes opening a file in your web browser can be the problem.

I have to scroll a lot to view this website, is there a way to stop this?

TAG recommends that you view this website with your screen set to 1026 x 768 pixels. To change this simply right click on your desktop, go to settings and slide the screen resolution to this setting.

I am looking for workshops for my pupils/youth group. Does TAG respond to individual requests for projects/workshops?

TAG would be delighted to hear of any ideas for collaboration with schools or community groups. please contact TAG's Education Officer to discuss possibilities. Due to workload, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to enter into partnership with all enquirers. However, we will always endeavour to identify other potential partners, should we be unavailable.
